The Green Season refers to that time of year when the seasonal rains fall across Central southern Africa, there can of course be season variations with regions starting sooner or later and the likelihood of rains can vary enormously from hardly any, to regular showers, although worth noting that showers can often happen at night!
Don't be put off because in reality this is a prime time to visit the bush, when many animals give birth when the bush is lush and green and Migratory birds arrive from all over the planet. Expect few other visitors and great value.
